 Chart Soccer Team Android App |
Chart Soccer Team is an Android app that allows a soccer fan, or a soccer coach, to assess
how well their team is playing while either attending a match in person, or while watching the match on TV.
This app focuses on the offensive aspect of team play by allowing the user to chart,
meaning count, eight typical plays and errors made while a team is on offense. The app includes identification of the teams, the date, weather conditions, and the final outcome of the match. A button for each offensive play amd error is used to tally counts of each as they occur. The user may also include a note to describe some important aspect of the match. The app saves all match data and resultant counts to a file in the phone's internal storage. A file is created for each team charted, and data from other charting sessions for the same team are appended to the file. In this way the user may measure offensive efficiency as the season progresses.
